Spring Ranch Tour 2023

The Tahoe Cattlemen's Association and UC Cooperative Extension partnered
on the first annual spring ranch tour on May 6, 2023. Tour stops included the Lawley
Ranch and 7B Ranch in Lincoln and Tripp Cattle Company in Newcastle. Participants
learned about pasture and grazing management, cattle marketing, reproduction,
and artificial insemination, using herding dogs, and cattle handling systems. TCA
provided a barbecue lunch at Tripp Cattle Company to round out the day. Next
year's spring ranch tour will focus on Nevada County ranches - if you're interested in
